We at Quilters’ Corner hope you all had happy holidays and are looking forward to a wonderful, productive New Year.

Quilters’ Corner has been busy getting ready for the great new lineup of teachers and activities. The 2018 TAGS for 5th Saturday Sale days, will be available at the January 7th Open House/Meet the Teachers. 5th Saturday Sale days for 2018 are March 31st, June 30th, September 29th and December 29th. We have a new program starting in January - Kim Diehl's Simple Whatnots Club 7. You can make eight little, fun-to-stitch quilts, over a 12-month period. The collection features several patchwork projects, with one or two quilts including applique. Hurry! Only 20 spots available for the Club!

Our “Garage/Stash Sale” is scheduled for Sunday, February 18th – Staff members are cleaning out their sewing rooms, so be sure to stop by – you never know what you will find for a great price.

Our Fabulous Classes include Anelie Belden teaching one of her famous adaptations of the Dresden Plate, Tracy Allen teaching a Wedgie quilt, Diana Tatro teaching her Tuffets (both square and round), Sue Rohrke teaching an Iris and a great Bodega Bay Image, Sue Donbroski teaching “Catherine’s Quandary” and “Rooster Crowed at Midnight” and Donna Dale teaching “Welcome Spring” plus continuing with the Kindred Spirits Club. Patty Shaw and Pam Polson will be doing Quilting 101&102 with Vicki Carter, along with numerous bags. For those of you who didn’t get a chance to sign up for Ingrid Cataneo’s Giraffe, this quarter's class will be your last opportunity!

There are all kind of clubs and groups to join, such as Thimble Ladies, the 1800’s Club, Embroidery Club, Dear Jane Society, the Downunder Wanabes, Redwork Club, and the Handwork Club. Look on the website’s class calendar for further descriptions.

Meet the Teachers on January 7th is a great time to come in to meet the teachers in person and see the projects they are teaching. There are always yummy homemade goodies to snack on and staff can answer your questions and help you pick out your next project.

Last, but not least, the 2018 Quilt Rush is just around the corner – April 19-21, 2018. Be sure it’s on your calendar – theme this year is “Sew Charming”.

Hope to see you soon!
